Faced with skyrocketing cost of energy and environmental concerns, builders, architects and lighting experts are increasingly turning to daylight as a primary source of illumination.

To take full advantage of daylight integration, buildings should have automated controls that either turn off or dim artificial light in response to the available daylight in the space. This is called ‘daylight harvesting’.

We supply a simple and cost effective solution for daylight harvesting. Using our own design of interface and using photocells to measure ambient lux levels we can automatically calculate how much artificial light is needed. Our solution will then adjust the lighting output according to the signal from the daylight sensor. This in turn uses the least amount of electric to maintain the correct lighting levels.

Ambient light larger than present illumination level (set by 1-10V daylight sensor), the lamp stays off

Ambient light lower than present illumination level, the lamp switches on when motion is detected

3-Step Dimming Option
