We are currently leading the R&D of T8 retro fit LED tubes, 2D LED solutions and also GX24 bulbs. We currently have under test a T8 retro fit tube that will work with not only a switch start T8 fitting but also a high frequency fitting. Given time we will be able to offer to the commercial market place a true retro fit LED T8 and T5 tube. We are currently working on a project with Lincolnshire County Council to supply schools in the area with complete LED T8, T5 tubes and other types of LED light fittings to reduce there energy costs. In most cases we are able to offer a saving of around 60 – 80% of energy with a payback of around 2 years. If the schools are able to receive the Salix grant then this is a simple no questions solution to reducing not only the schools energy consumption and costs but also the CO2. After a school has had a energy survey carried out by the council we go in and carry out a quick check on requirements and then offer not only a quote but also a energy calculation on the savings that can be achieved by implementing a LED conversion. The best bit is that as our tubes are a direct replacement for switch start T8 lighting we can be in and out of your school within a number of days and we do not need to replace and charge you for new lighting units, just the tubes.

Our LED lighting is by far some of the most energy saving brightest and most economically priced available in the UK. We know this as we spend a small fortune testing as many of our competitors LED lighting is as possible. When we find something that is better than what we sell, we go back to our factory and discuss improvements with the R&D team. This rarely is the case as we tend to lead where others follow! Due to our regular trips visiting our factory and carrying out our own quality inspections of both materials, stock and welfare of staff we are able to make sure we offer the best products made to the best possible standards. having said this we never just take our factories word that ours is the best, we independently get our bulbs tested for specification. This means that when we state a wattage or lumen, it is correct. many of the LED solutions we test either use more wattage that advertised or produce far less Lumen than stated. Don't just take our word for it, place one of our 60 LED 250 Lumen bulbs with 90 degree angle next to another that claims the same specifications and you will see what we mean.

Some of our tests have proved that bulbs are being sold stating 360 lumen and in fact they are just 130 lumen, or even worse the manufacturers' increase the amps that are able to pass through the LED therefore increasing the brightness but reducing the lifespan drastically (this is a very common issue we come across with cheap low grade imported LED).
